I’m originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and I’m a proud alumnus of Louisiana State University, where I majored in General Business with minors in Communication and Leadership Development—all while being a student athlete with LSU Football. During my junior year, I was admitted to the Stephenson Entrepreneurship Program, which sparked my passion for launching startups and ever since I have never let off the gas.
My first venture was a media company that nearly secured a contract with Marucci Sports before my co-founder and I decided to dissolve it. Later, during my senior year, I founded a drone inspection startup serving insurance companies and homeowners—an endeavor that also paved the way for exploring drone defense technology. Although I didn’t clinch the top prize at a Startup Weekend pitch competition, the experience taught me invaluable lessons about innovation, regulations, and market readiness.
After college, I established UpFlat, which continues to thrive today. Looking ahead, I’m drawn to new frontiers—AI, fintech, real estate, robotics, or perhaps another drone-focused business. While I haven’t worked at a FAANG or Fortune 500 company, my attention has always been fixed on building the next great impactful long-living tool. As we enter 2025, I remain optimistic, enthusiastic, and ready for whatever the future holds.
Over the years, I’ve also matured and come to realize that we all have a finite amount of time on Earth. The positive impact we create has grown to become my ultimate source of direction, both in business and in life. With all of that being said more than likely, I’ll be working with—or building—organizations that strive for a truly meaningful impact on society as a whole.
